Pig Lamp by Ariel Rojo

We fondly remember that piggy bank we had growing up that never quite served its intended purpose (given that we kept dipping into it every time we wanted to buy a new toy or comic book). The Pig Lamp by Ariel Rojo (available at the MoMA Store for $90) is a uniquely porcine lighting accessory that takes into account how little our saving (i.e. spending) habits have changed and provides a charming way to achieve cost savings through energy-efficient lighting. Each Pig Lamp is made of ceramic and includes a 9 watt, stay-cool light bulb that playfully serves as its tail, making this a lamp with exceptional character, wit (and a touch of practicality as well).
