Dapper Scout Recommends: Square Frame Aviator Sunglasses

Oversized metal and plastic frame aviator sunglasses have been a perennial favorite for the past few summers, but this season we’re particularly drawn to the smaller more compact square frame aviator sunglasses first introduced by Ray Ban’s Caravan design in 1957 (Item C). Pictured above is the Ultra version of the company’s classic design made of titanium and plated in white or yellow gold (a limited edition of 1,000). You’ll find updated renditions of the look in the Mosley Tribes Enforcer sunglasses (Item A) or in the Paul Smith PS-840 sunglasses (Item B). For added flare, the 3.1 Phillip Lim Kitt aviators are framed in blue painted titanium (Item D). And the MOSCOT Zulu sunglasses (Item E), named after the owners’ uncle, Zulu Pushkin, sports a very classic yet unique look. Whichever one of these sunglasses you choose, enjoy summer picnics, fold out beach chairs, and open up poolside Coronas while looking dapper in your smart new shades.
